Many people have the best intentions when it comes to health and fitness. Whether it is weight management, strength, or just moving better, people fall short in following through with a program. There are thousands of YouTube videos and online workout programs out there. But what is missing is the motivation and accountability aspect of the program. Through my online coaching program I will provide you with the needed motivation and accountability. As a certified health coach and certified personal trainer, I will give you tips on how to create real change in your life to maintain a health and fitness program.

Focus on the older adult.

As a Functional Aging Specialist, and a baby boomer myself, I understand the challenges people face as they age. As we age our bodies need to be trained differently than when we were in our younger years. Functionality, mobility, and strength become the key factors in what exercises we perform. Your personal program will be tailored to your specific needs and goals.

  • Initial Complimentary Skype Consultation – During this 30-minute consultation I will get a chance to understand your goals, learn about your specific health and fitness needs, and any other pertinent information to help guide me in creating a unique program for you.
  • Posture and Body Composition Screen – Through the use of a HIPPA compliant mobile app you can send photos taken on your mobile phone for our software to analyze your posture and body composition.
  • Personalized Workout Program – After we complete the assessment, I will develop a personalized workout program for you. Whether you workout at a gym or at home, I can develop a program for you. We will discuss this program via another Skype call.
  • Mobile App to help keep you on track – Using our mobile app you will be able to have your workouts wherever you go. Many of the exercises will have videos to show you proper form. Through the app you can track your progress, communicate with me, link your MyFitnessPal and Fitbit data.
  • Weekly email check-ins – Through weekly scheduled emails I will communicate with you to check on progress and questions. Optionally you can add on Skype calls.
  • More than just a workout program – In our Skype calls and emails I will use my experience as a certified health coach to work with you to create life long habits that contribute to your health and well-being. We will discuss nutrition and life style.

Ken helped me refine my workout and use new forms of exercise, which kept the sessions engaging and really effective. He focused on building balance and strength all over, without over-training any one area. His thorough instructions also meant that I could incorporate the exercises I learned into my own workouts.
